Just a Dream

By first glance I felt warm

Happy and joyful, no shade of harm

My heart was quick

This what kind of trick.

I never knew to notice you would

To a simple pretty me, oh you could

This kiss you gave, my heart sigh

My heart jumps up, said “sadness, goodbye.”

By then a sudden I woke up

From up so high I felt I was dropped

It was just a dream as it should be

An illusion as you see.

Truth is you may not know me

But I actually know you

Your happy eyes, sun bright smile

Makes my heart jump a whole mile.

In my beautiful daydream

You love me as I love you.

Sweet kisses to me you give

Oh, I wish this daydream I forever live.

But now is reality, the unnoticed me

But I’ll always treasure my daydreams.

For at times when I remember the feel of your warm embrace

My secret love, oh, you keep me ablaze.
